The history of C.F.M.

Our vocation dates long time ago. Already in 1908 Dr. Felice Rebuzzini was awarded a prize for the innovative contribution of his activity as a pharmacist. Tradition has been extended by his son Giuseppe (pharmaceutical chemist) who, in 1949, founded in Milan the company Commissionaria Farmaceutica Milanese S.r.l., specialized in the distribution of active ingredients in the pharmaceutical area. Since then, thanks to the devotion of the descendants of the same family, growth and specialization of the company has been uninterrupted.

Still today C.F.M. distributes ingredients and raw materials in Italy and in 50+ Countries worldwide.

Passion for this job and investment policy that have always marked C.F.M.’s activity, brought to the foundation of AMSA SpA and COSMA SpA, respectively in 1953 and 1977, and to the acquisition of Clarochem Ireland Ltd in 2008. These three companies are the industrial activities of C.F.M. Group, specialized in the chemical synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

C.F.M.'s services

The key services which C.F.M. offer are:

  • selection of reliable suppliers worldwide. C.F.M. developed a network of exclusive distributionships and consolidated collaborations, with a guarantee of maximum transparency and  efficient exchange of information;
  • technical and regulatory support, so that all distributed products are safe and compliant to Italian and EU regulations;
  • documentary and scientific support to update customers about ingredients that are innovative and proved effective;
  • quick logistic service with a warehouse, stocked goods, cold chain and compliance to GDP;
  • certification of all operations under ISO 9001:2015.

Mission

We support our customers by searching and qualifying for them ingredients and raw materials, also guaranteeing their efficacy and compliance to all regulations.

We propose to the market innovative substances produced by reliable companies, selected worldwide for quality and expertise.
